Thomastik Infeld Custom Flatwound

Just purchased a brand new Rickenbacker 620/12
and treated myself to the custom flat wounds , they are not cheap but they feel and sound amazing.

The Right Strings

Yes, if you have a 12 string Rickenbacker, these are the strings! And these folks stock them and ship quickly.

Nice

Even though I haven’t played them for vey long yet, I really like these strings. I changed my pickups at the same time, so it’s hard to separate what’s causing what. They seem to have less tension which I like.

Awesome

TI FWs arethe only way to go for Ric owners. I have mine tuned to standard D and they sound fantastic. Pricey yes but they last a long time. Plus super fast shipping, win win!

These are the strings you’ve been looking for!

I’ve tried a lot of different strings on my Rick 12 strings and these are hands down the best. While they are a little harder to play than roundwounds, the sound and the feel of these strings make up for it. They are also a lot easier to play than the Pyramid flats are. Yes, they are pricey. But they will last longer than roundwounds and reduce fret wear. In my opinion, these strings are an essential upgrade for your Rick 12 string.
